The two large Onion Roof turrets on the Shasta evoke imaginative play and children can imagine they are in an Arabian Palace or European Castle as they play below. There is a Transfer Deck on this structure so kids can get on and off easily, but we guarantee that one of the more inventive ways of climbing aboard the Shasta will be used the most. Will they choose the Pod Climber that requires left-right coordination to scale, the Inverted Arch Ladder that requires careful balance, or the Overhead Straight Rung Horizontal Ladder that builds upper body strength? There’s a Pull Up Bar to tackle some chin ups and kids will have a blast figuring out how to beat the incessant spinning motion of the Overhead 3 Wheel Swing Ladder long enough to complete it. At the top there’s a Straight Slide and a curving Spiral Slide to get to the bottom and start all over again. A Ship’s Wheel and Rain Wheel can be spun around too which encourages interaction with moving objects.
